§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE (Sir John GORST) (Chatham)The case of the Telegraph Department has been referred to the Finance Commission which was recently appointed in India to consider what reductions can be made in the Public Expenditure. The hon. Member will see that until this Report has boon received it is impossible to give the information he desires.
