MR. MAURICE HEALY (Cork)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, How many orders have been made by the Irish Land Commission under the provisions of the 23rd section of "The Purchase of Land (Ireland) Act, 1885;" and how many of such orders relate to simple mortgages, and how many to instalment mortgages?

(who replied) said: The total number of such orders which have been made by the Land Commission is 1,665. Of these orders 1,080 relate to simple mortgages, and 585 to instalment mortgages.
