PICKERSGILL (Bethnal Green, S.W.)asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether his attention has been drawn to the report of a case heard on Tuesday last at Worship Street Police Court, in the course of which Mr. Bushby highly commended Police Constable 483 J for his successful efforts to rescue a woman from drowning; and, whether he will take care that the gallantry of this constable shall be suitably acknowledged?

The police constable has already been recommended for a reward, which will be granted by the Commissioners in the usual way. His case will also be brought before the Humane Society, and the matter published in Police Orders.
