HC Deb 28 February 1887 vol 311 c690

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."—(Mr. Dillwyn.)

MR. SEXTON (Belfast, W.)

Since this Bill was postponed on Friday last I have communicated with the agents for the promoters, and also with the Corporation of Dublin. I have received a letter from the agents, in which they say— We are instructed and hereby undertake to withdraw from the Bill all the provisions except those relating to the return of deposit money in Clause 4. That arrangement is satisfactory to those for whom I am concerned, and therefore I shall not offer further opposition to the Bill.

Question put, and agreed to.

Bill read a second time, and committed.
