§ MR. HOWORTH (Salford, S.)
asked the Secretary of State for War, If he can inform the House, or lay Returns upon the Table, showing the effects which have followed from the lapse of the Contagious Diseases Acts in the garrison towns?
§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)
Some Returns on this subject of the suspension of these Acts were presented to this House in August, 1885. No other 1762 Returns have since been compiled, except the ordinary information contained in the Annual Reports of the Army Medical Department. But if my hon. Friend likes to move for a Return on the subject I shall offer no objection.
