HC Deb 15 February 1887 vol 310 c1560
MR. KIMBER (Wandsworth)

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade, Whether any further Correspondence has passed, or steps taken, with Continental Governments, with a view to an International Conference on the subject of the Sugar Bounties; and, whether there are any further Papers he can lay upon the Table, if moved for?

THE SECRETARY (Baron HENRY DE WORMS) (Liverpool, East Toxteth)

Certain Governments have been approached upon this subject, and some have replied not unfavourably. The proceedings are not, however, at such a stage that any statement can be made at present, nor can any Papers be laid on the Table.
