HC Deb 15 February 1887 vol 310 c1559
SIR GUYER HUNTER (Hackney, Central)

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether, in the recent Army Warrant, any alteration has been made in the relative rank, position, or titles of medical officers to those heretofore held by them?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)

Relative rank has been abolished for all departments; but medical officers retain all the privileges heretofore attaching to it. In other respects their status is unchanged.
