HC Deb 10 February 1887 vol 310 c1105
MR. HANBURY (Preston)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether the Government will give facilities for the discussion of the Bill, introduced by the hon. Member for South Tyrone (Mr. T. W. Russell), to include leaseholders in the benefits of the Land Act of 1881, and which has been "blocked" by the hon. Member for Shoreditch (Mr. Cremer)?

THE FIRST LORD (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

My hon. Friend will, I am sure, anticipate the answer I am about to give him. It is utterly impossible for me, in the present state of Public Business, to promise facilities for any measures which may have been introduced by private Members.
