HC Deb 29 August 1887 vol 320 c275
SIR RICHARD PAGET (Somerset, Wells)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether he would be good enough to direct that copies of the various Bills introduced during the present Session, dealing with the important subject of Technical Education in connection with Elementary Schools, be sent to the Royal Commission on the Elementary Education Acts, and that any Amendments to such Bills, of which Notice has been given, be similarly sent at the same time?

THE FIRST LORD(Mr. W.H.SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

The Royal Commission has power to send for such Papers as they may deem needful for the purposes of their inquiry; and no such action as that suggested by the hon. Member is necessary on my part.
