Order read, for resuming Adjourned Debate on Question [23rd August], That this House doth agree with the Lords in the Amendment in page 3, line 8, to leave out ' ten of the clock at night of any day,' and insert ' such hour at night of any day, not earlier than ton and not later than eleven, as the licensing authority may direct.'

Amendment proposed, In page 3, line 28, at end of Clause 9, add "shall not apply to any burgh, town, or populous place containing fifty thousand inhabitants and upwards,
