§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)The band of the 3rd Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment played at a flower show at Thirkleby Park on the invitation of the Secretary to the Thirkleby Park and District Horticultural Society. Nothing was said in the invitation of any political intention in the meeting; and, so far as I can learn, it had no political significance whatever.
