§ MR. SEXTON (Belfast, W.)asked the Postmaster General, Whether he is aware of the inconvenience caused to the public by the delay in opening the post office in Waring Street, Belfast; and, whether he can state definitely when a receiver will be appointed, and on what date the office will be open for business?
§ THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. RAIKES) (Cambridge University), in reply, said, on the 25th of July the Treasury nominated a receiver to the new post office about to be established in Waring Street, Belfast. As soon as she had obtained a suitable house in Waring Street, which she must do without further delay, business will be commenced. If any unreasonable delay occurs, the nomination will be cancelled.
