§ THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. RAIKES) (Cambridge University)I hope the House will allow this Bill to be taken, although the hour is late. There are a number of hon. Members present who take an interest in the subject, and it would be more convenient to them to consider it now than on another occasion, especially as there is little hope of being able to take it at an earlier hour. In the first instance, I have to move the Instruction to the Committee to make it possible for the Committee to take into consideration the proposal with a view to extending the operation of the Bill to all Savings Banks administered by Trustees.
