MR. WOOTTON ISAACSON (Tower Hamlets, Stepney)

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether the men who have received the new sword bayonet, with the foresight on the ring, have had any target practice so as to test the accuracy of the shooting; if so, whether a Report of the result will be laid before the House?

THE SURVEYOR GENERAL OF ORDNANCE (Mr. NORTHCOTE)(who replied) (Exeter)

said: The only issues of these sword bayonets have been to the Navy, and as yet no Reports have been, received from that Service.
