§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)said, so much depended on the progress of the Coal Mines, &c. Regulation Bill that he was unable to say whether they should be able to proceed with the Technical Instruction Bill on Tuesday. The Government was very anxious to pass the Bill, and he hoped the hon. Member would not press for any specific arrangement.
