asked the hon. Member for the Knutsford Division of Cheshire, Whether the Metropolitan Board of Works have decided what process of precipitation is to be applied at their sewage outfall works; and, if so, what guarantee they have that the selected process will prove effective?

, in reply, said, the Metropolitan Board of Works believed that the process of precipitation to be applied would prove effective, as it was founded on the results of long and careful experiments made for the purpose.
