§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (MR. GOSCHEN), (St. George's, Hanover Square)in reply, said, there were 50 first-class Inland Revenue officers in the Dublin district. Twenty-four of them would receive an increase of salary under the scheme coming into force on the 1st of September next, the total sum they would receive by way of such increase during the year commencing on that date was £170.
