HC Deb 01 August 1887 vol 318 c694
MR. GILHOOLY (Cork, W.)

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade, Whether, in view of the fact that one man lost his life and another was seriously injured in the recent accident on the Bantry Extension Railway, the Board of Trade will consider it necessary to hold an official inquiry into the cause of the accident?

THE SECRETARY (Baron HENRY DE WORMS) (Liverpool, East Toxteth)

Before Notice of the hon. Member's Question had been given, the Board of Trade had already directed one of their Inspecting Officers to inquire into the accident referred to.
