HC Deb 05 April 1887 vol 313 cc488-9
MR. SEXTON (Belfast, W.)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether the monthly Returns for January and February last of judicial rents fixed in Ireland, and the quarterly Return, up to 31st March ultimo, of agrarian offences reported to the Inspector General of the Royal Irish Constabulary, will be circulated in time for use in the debate of the second reading of the Criminal Law Amendment (Ireland) Bill.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR) (Manchester. E.)

The quarterly Return of agrarian outrages will, I hope, be laid on the Table this week. I have communicated with the Land Commissioners as to the probable date of the presentation of their Reports for January and February; but the Question having been put on the Paper without Notice, I have not been able to get a reply.
