HC Deb 21 September 1886 vol 309 c1098
MR. M. J. KENNY (Tyrone, Mid)

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, If he will state the grounds on which the Commissioners of Education have declined to recommend Mrs. J. Kelly, late schoolmistress of the Mountfield, county Tyrone, National School, for a gratuity under the Teachers Pension Act?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH) (Bristol, W.)

(who replied) said: I find that in this particular case Mrs. Kelly was refused a retiring pension, because her case does not come within the terms of the Teachers Pension Act.
