§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE (SIR JOHN GORST) (Chatham)The special Mission of toe senior Member of the Madras Board of Revenue has been to make inquiry into the administration of the Madura District by the late collector. No special grant of magisterial duty has, so far as I am aware, been made to him.
