§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Lord RANDOLPH CHURCHILL) (Paddington, S.)This question of relieving the Police Force of their electoral disabilities in connection with the Parliamentary Franchise has hitherto been left by the Government in the hands of private Members, and I am not aware of any intention on the part 344 of the Government to depart from that practice.
