§ Mr. SEXTON (Sligo, S.)My hon. and learned Friend the Member for South Derry (Mr. Healy) has an Amendment on the Paper to Clause 1. However, since the matter was last before the House, I have ascertained that the hon. and learned Member is not eager at present to apply his reforming zeal to the measure. I also perceive the force of the statement that it is not desirable to extend the scope of the Bill, which applies only to lunacy. I do not propose to go on with the Amendment.
