§ MR. A. J. BALFOURinquired, Whether the Returns relating to the prevalence of distress would be in the hands of Members in time for the discussion of the Motion of the hon. Member for East Leeds (Mr. Dawson)?
§ THE PRESIDENT (Mr. JOSEPH CHAMBERLAIN) (Birmingham, W.), in reply, said that the Return had already been laid on the Table "in dummy." The greater part of the information had been for some time in the printer's hands; but he was still waiting for some important replies. He hoped, in the course of a day or two, to be enabled to place the whole of the information in the possession of the House.
