HC Deb 21 June 1886 vol 307 c34

Order for Third Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read the third time."—(Sir Charles Forster.)

MR. R. CHAMBERLAIN (Islington, W.)

I rise to oppose the third reading of this Bill, and the ground on which I do so is that it proposes to confer powers on a Syndicate who do not give in return any corresponding advantages to the public.

MR. SPEAKER

Order, order! If the hon. Member opposes the Bill it must stand over until the next day of the sitting of the House.

Bill to be read the third time upon Thursday.
