HENRY CAMPBELL (Fermanagh, S.)(for Mr. JORDAN) (Clare, W.) asked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether, in reference to the promised elevation of the Railway Bridge over the Canal at Ballinamore, any steps have been taken by the Board of Works in fulfilment of the promise then made; and, if so, whether similar action will be taken in reference to the Bridge on the same line of Railway spanning the Canal at Ballyconnell?
§ THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. HENRY H. FOWLER) (Wolverhampton, E.)The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland have issued their certificates, fixing the heights at which the bridges in question are to be built, so as not to interfere with the navigation of the Canal.
