HC Deb 07 June 1886 vol 306 c1137
MR. HENNIKER HEATON (Canterbury)

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, When the Post Office Annual Report will be issued?

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. HENRY H. FOWLER) (Wolverhampton, E.)

The Annual Report on the Post Office is usually laid on the Table of the House about the middle or end of July. The Report deals with accounts made up to the 31st of March, and a considerable time necessarily elapses before the accounts from Foreign and Colonial Post Offices made up to that date can be received and examined in this country.
