asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If Mr. Sinclair, of Newry, some time ago made a composition with his creditors; and, if so, will he still be retained in the commission of the peace, guardianship of the poor, and Newry Town Commission?

in reply, said, that the fact was as stated with regard to Mr. Sinclair. Accordingly a communication, as was usual in such cases, had been addressed to him.
