HC Deb 27 August 1886 vol 308 c662
MR. ADDISON (Ashton-under-Lyne)

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade, If Her Majesty's Government will introduce, as soon as practicable, a Bill by which Deeds of Arrangement with Creditors may, by registration or otherwise, be made public, and traders be protected from dealing with insolvent persons?

THE SECRETAEY TO THE BOARD (Baron HENRY DE WORMS) (Liverpool, East Toxteth)

It is not the intention of Her Majesty's Government to undertake any general legislation during the present Session; and I am unable to hold out any promise to the hon. Member as to the future.
