§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)547 The arrangements for the establishment of an Emigrants' Information Bureau are very nearly completed, and we hope to open the office during the month of October. My hon. Friend is, no doubt, aware that it is not intended that the Bureau should take any part in promoting emigration; but it will collect and circulate all the freshest and most accurate information possible with respect to emigration to all our Colonies.
