HC Deb 19 August 1886 vol 308 cc89-90
MR. PARNELL (Cork)

In view of the Notice given by the noble Lord the Chancellor of the Exchequer, I think it will be most convenient for many hon. Members to know whether the Government have really made up their minds as to whether it is their intention to prorogue Parliament as soon as the Financial Business has been concluded?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Lord RANDOLPH CHUECHILL) (Paddington, S.)

Yes, Sir; that is our intention.
