HC Deb 19 April 1886 vol 305 c12
MR. COX (Clare, E.)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether he can state the reasons why Constables Lockington, Orr, M'Guigan, and Cameron have been removed from Downpatrick?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Mr. JOHN MORLEY) (Newcastle-on-TYNE)

The four constables named were removed because they could not agree amongst themselves; and it was considered necessary, for the peace of the station and the discipline of the Service, that they should be removed.
