HC Deb 01 April 1886 vol 304 c432
MR. WILLIAM REDMOND (Fermanagh, N.)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, What action has been taken by the Government with reference to the speech of Mr. Brook, J.P., to which attention was called in the House on the 26th inst.?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Mr. JOHN MORLEY) (Newcastle-on-Tyne)

I find that there are primâ facie grounds for assuming that the gentleman in question made use of the language imputed to him, and I have directed the attention of the Lord Chancellor to the matter.
