§ MR. J. K. CROSSI am afraid I cannot answer this Question; for it does not necessarily come within the purview of the India Office. By the courtesy of the Foreign Office, however, a copy of the Treaty between Burmah and France was forwarded to the India Office; and, as far as my recollection serves me, the terms were said to be identical with those of the Treaty existing between England and Burmah.
