HC Deb 14 May 1885 vol 298 cc488-9
MR. LEWIS

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether, in his promised statement of the intended further Government measures this Session, he will state when the Government proposes to introduce the promised measure relating to the enforcement of the claim of the Government on the Limerick Corporation in lieu of the ordinary process of existing Law?

MR. GLADSTONE,

in reply, said, that this was a measure of importance as connected with the facts to which it referred; but he would refer the hon. Member to his right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary for Ireland, who had it in charge, for further information.
