HC Deb 27 March 1885 vol 296 c827

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether the Government propose to carry out the recommendations of the Royal Irish Constabulary Commission of 1883, as regards granting remuneration to members of the above Force who act as Inspectors of Weights and Measures; what is the cause of the delay in carrying out the same; and, whether it is to take effect from the date of the Commission?

I answered a similar Question to this yesterday.
