§ SIR CHARLES W. DILKEThe subject of the reform of local government in the Metropolis and in the whole of the Three Kingdoms is much in the mind of Her Majesty's Government. Large measures on the subject are ready; but the question as to which of them can be carried in the present Session is hardly ripe for decision until we see our way to the completion of the Committee and Report of the Amendments on the Seats Bill.
