§ SIR THOMAS BRASSEYSeven wood-built torpedo boats ordered in 1882 have been delivered. Two are fully completed for service. The other five are being prepared for issue to ships as required. Five first class and two second class boats wore ordered last year, but have not yet been delivered. Tenders have recently been invited for 10 additional first class boats.
