HC Deb 10 March 1885 vol 295 c627
MR. PULESTON

asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether he could give the House any information about the financial arrangements with respect to Egypt?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. CHILDERS)

I have no information on the subject since the statement I last made to the House. I stated then that I had been informed that the matter was nearly concluded. I was so informed on the authority of an Ambassador.
