HC Deb 06 March 1885 vol 295 c275
MR. DEASY

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, When the Government intend to introduce a Bill dealing with Reformatory and Industrial Schools in Ireland?

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

The Irish Government and the Home Office have been in communication on the subject of legislation for carrying out certain suggestions of the Royal Commission on Reformatory and Industrial Schools which extended to the United Kingdom; but I am not in a position to say anything as to the introduction of a Bill on this subject.
