§ MR. BIGGARasked the Secretary to the Treasury, What is the extent of the mortgage of the Government against the Derry Central Railway; what is the rate of interest; and, whether the interest has been punctually paid up till the present; and, if not, how much arrears of interest is due?
§ MR. HIBBERT[The mortgage in this case is for £100,000, bearing interest at 4 per cent. I am sorry to say the interest has not been paid punctually, and the arrears have accumulated to the amount of about £10,000. The Company is, however, paying over the whole of its net revenue, and with improved traffic we may hope to see the arrears reduced.

§ SIR HERVEY BRUCEWhat are their names?
