HC Deb 06 August 1885 vol 300 cc1275-6
COLONEL KING-HARMAN

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether any steps can be taken to ensure a better supply of milk and vegetables to the regimental bazaars of the Sikh and Bengal Regiments now serving at Suakin?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. W. H. SMITH)

No Report has been received to the effect that the Indian regimental bazaar arrangements are unsatisfactory; but the question is necessarily a local one, and the General Officer commanding at Suakin, who is an experienced Indian officer, has full authority to make any arrangements he may consider requisite.
