O'BRIENasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether it is the case that a high hoarding has been erected around the dispensary house in William Street, Derry, in such a manner as to obstruct the public view of the lists there exhibited of persons returned as entitled to be registered under the Representation of the People Act; and, whether measures will be taken to have the obstruction removed or the lists better displayed?
§ THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Sir WILLIAM HART DYKE)I have made inquiries and cannot find that there is any foundation for this statement. On the contrary, I am assured that there is not, and has not been, any such obstruction as that indicated.
