GABBETTasked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If Her Majesty's Government have now come to the conclusion that the time has arrived when, in the interests of Ireland and Great Britain, a Royal residence in Ireland for frequent occupation ought to be provided; and, whether the Government would consider the expediency of abolishing the Lord Lieutenancy of Ireland and of establishing a government for Ireland in the person of a member of the Royal Family?
