THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTONThe batteries of Horse and Field Artillery are armed as stated in the Question. Some of the Horse Artillery batteries at home are armed with 13-pounder muzzle-loading guns, and the remainder with 9-pounder muzzle-loading guns; but none with breech-loading guns. No application on the subject has been received from the Government of India.
