asked Mr. Solicitor General for Ireland, What is the present position of Mr. George Bolton; is he in receipt of a salary from the Crown; and, what are the intentions of the Government respecting him?

, in reply, said, the question was of considerable importance, and it was desirable that the opinion of the Chief Secretary should be obtained. The papers were now before him, and he would state the intentions of the Government on his return to the House.
