LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICE,

in reply, said, Mr. Lloyd took three months' leave, to which he was entitled, on the 1st of June, with the pay of his appointment. His salary was at the rate of £2,500 a-year. At the termination of his leave he resigned. He drew one quarter's salary during the continuance of his absence from duty.
