§ SIR THOMAS BRASSEYA Report was received from the Commander-in-Chief of the North American station with reference to the charges brought by Mr. Donovan against the captain of Her Majesty's Ship Garnet. The Admiralty have informed Captain Montagu that they consider he acted very injudiciously in writing the letters which he addressed to Mr. Donovan, but that they accept his explanation respecting the other charges brought against him by that person.
