HC Deb 04 November 1884 vol 293 cc897-8
MR. HEALY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether his attention has been called to recent correspondence in the press about Teelin Pier, and to General Sankey's explanation on behalf of the Board of Works; whether he still adheres to his former statements; and, whether it is intended to grant any inquiry into the alleged waste of public money?

MR. COURTNEY

, in reply, said, he had seen the Correspondence. The hon. Member was, perhaps, aware that the case would come before the Donegal Grand Jury, and it was not possible to give any opinion upon it until afterwards.
