§ MR. TREVELYANI intend to move for the Committee after Whitsuntide, during which period I shall consult with the Irish Government as to the scope of the Reference. My own view is that it should be to inquire into the working of the Labourers' Cottage Act of 1883, which was the subject of the Bill that was before the House yesterday, and I should wish that every question started upon that Bill would receive consideration.
